Sharon Fruit

A type of Persimmon that I have never seen. From the outside, they look like persimmons we've eaten before, but on the inside, this lovely design.

I had never eaten a persimmon before I met Mother Comfort. Each year, when they appeared in the stores, she would ask us to pick up a persimmon or two. I grew to love them too...at least some of them. When they're bad, I'd have to say, they're really bad.

This year, we just wanted to get some as a remembrance of Mother Comfort. She has been gone since April 15th, but persimmons will come into the stores about this time every year, and they will always make us think of her.
