Wooden you like to go for a ride?

 The more I looked at fitted kitchens the more I wanted something less homogenous so this afternoon we had a trip out to Hargreaves Reclaimed Wood centre in Airth to order an elm breakfast bar.  Hargreaves also does architectural salvage so their yard is a cornucopia of remnants - parquet flooring from former schools and public buildings, huge piles of multi coloured radiators of the kind we used to fight to sit beside at school (see extra) and here, a fabulous bicycle made entirely out of wood, spokes included.  There was also a pile of pews in a shed and an old pulpit.  If I could have fitted them into my new kitchen design I would have but sadly I don't quite have that kind of space....
