River cruise at Stratford on Avon

Our last full day in Stratford on Avon and in the morning we strolled across the river stopping to watch the river boats and the many swans, geese and ducks surrounding them. This one sounded it’s horn as it passed under a bridge and the birds seemed to know that food was about to be thrown into the water.

After a bit of shopping we drove to S & C ‘s house then set off with the children to “All things wild” nature centre. This large area has many interesting animals as well as a Step through time Dinosaur walk.

Like many 4 year olds Poppy’s big brother Cameron is very interested and knowledgeable about dinosaurs so he loved the way we encountered life size creatures throughout the walk. The extra shows him observing the T Rex although keeping safely behind the protective rope !
