Lucerne

Sailing into the Lucerne ferry terminal one of the first sights is the Kapellebrücke or Chapel Bridge.

I first walked across the bridge in August 1964 when our Guide Company came to Switzerland as part of a larger guide camp. It's just as I remember it .... just a few hundred more tourists walking over the planks.

The weather was fine, if a little overcast, as we wandered back and forth over the various bridges ...... all was to change as the rain fell with a vengeance during our sail back to Weggis.
