Another change in plan

The only photo I took today is this structure we passed under in Belfast on our way to the ferry. We said goodbye to #3 daughter and family 5 hours later we were at the ferry. While waiting I got an email from Wild Frontiers, our tour company to contact the visa people, Travcour. We phoned to get told they strongly recommended we withdraw our current visa application and start again. (Pakistan wanted to know our previous employment and the visa company, instead of contacting us for the correct information instead made it up. But it was obvious from the bank statements we had to provide that we both got pensions, and Mr C has one from the RAF.

So now Travcour don’t want us to have the interview in case we are denied the visa (because of their mess-up). We have already got trains booked for the journey. Now are are to stay at home to trawl through all we can find of dates Mr C was at different RAF locations.

I know this is a petty thing to worry about when some people have illnesses or homelessness which are real worries, but nevertheless it is stressful as we should be flying in 3 weeks and we are no further forward than we were 2 months ago.

We are driving through rain in Galloway and should be home around 11pm.
