Not today anyway.

Bags' roses are well past it and it took a wee bit of judicious and selective angles to get the best out of them. But at least there is still colour and texture.

Shopping was not nearly as fraught as usual. Squirrel found two bottles of water partially drunk and hidden away which we handed to a till supervisor. She was shocked and was going to speak to a manager about it. I can't say I was that surprised about it.

Both monsters said they wanted to come on the walk after lunch...…..despite the rain.
Luckily the rain stopped as we left - and The Cygnet was great leading Squirrel around the fairy houses and explaining all sorts of things to her. Mind you, he missed the zebra trees. I wonder how he would explain them.
