It's hard to find a place in our yard for a bird feeder... I am envious of all the birds all of you all blip and so I requested of the Mr to find a way to install a feeder somewhere out there. The Doug Fir is too big to hang a feeder from and the only other trees are these small maples. 

He found this silly little pole in the garage and then bought a feeder and filled it up. The pole holds it up some but he tied a string around the maple to keep the feeder farther up in the air. I do not have high hopes for this arrangement but he said he will get a better pole for it if needed. Anyway, I will keep my eye on it to see if it attracts any little birds.
