A human sized bird's nest... One of the women who was on the camping trip to the coast last week is the owner of a company in Seattle called Feathered Friends. They make products using down such as parkas, vests, sleeping bags, and comforters. They recently moved to a  new store so I stopped in to see it today and lo and behold, they have a nest in there. Very cool.

I was in town because I met one of my ex-work colleagues for lunch. It's been the first day in weeks with a blue sky and no smoke. What a relief! It's nice and cool too.
