Barker Pond, Maine

A view from the deck of our friend Cynthia's wonderful cottage in Hiram, Maine.  It is on what was formerly a camp ground, which was bought over a generation ago by the family as a vacation destination--the chairs and flowers in the lower right are part of it. We  have been visiting for well over a decade; here is a cute blip  from a year ago.   The extra was the scene at the 'state line as we entered Maine--the mail truck had evidently reached the end of his route and was turning around. You may be able to read the roadside inscription on the left.
