Where There's A Will.....

A few months back, my friend Rhonda brought me two little purple bell vine starts because she remembered it was one of my favorites.  I used to have it planted at my previous apartment but the yard was fenced and the deer couldn't get to it.   Now, I have deer staring in my window so any edible plant wouldn't last at all.  I took a chance and planted it in a pot and have kept it in its required sunny spot so it seems to be flourishing.  

The air is really bad here with all the smoke from the fires so staying in made sense -- hence the indoor blip.  I know the smoke isn't nearly as bad here as it is much closer to the fires but there are so many up and down the west coast and even Canada and the smoke is everywhere.  It's heartbreaking to think of all the people who are losing their homes and all the animals suffering because the forests are burning.  Makes me sad.
