Fixing the Petunia
Stonemasons and a large crane arrived this morning to rebuild the pillar properly after the most recent petunial event. There was a slight hiatus while 26 actors & crew made their way out to rehearsals before the crane blocked the exit.
I am seriously impressed with modern crane control. This thing could move tons with a precision of millimetres.

We went out for an exploration this afternoon. We'd not really been to Evesham since moving to this area so took the opportunity to go and have a look. Nice enough, and a nice walk along the Avon and a few nice buildings in the town (the abbey bell tower is an extra photo) but nothing very much to excite us into returning in a hurry. More likely to pay Pershore another visit.
