Manche to the Med day 12

Day 12 Rivière sur Tarn to Lodève. 62 miles, phew! Another cracking day. Down the Tarn to Millau where we detoured a few miles to see the famous viaduct. The route then took as up the beautiful gorge of La Dourbie up to Nant where a 300m climb was not so welcome in the heat. The gorge was beautiful though with pretty mountain villages. 

We crossed from the Cévennes to l'Herault region. We were then rewarded with 10 miles of down hill dropping from 800m to 150m - that was great fun. A swim in the pool, dinner cooked and now for a well earned beer. One more day to the coast!
