Scene 1. The riverbank.
MS of Roderick, pull to WS of bank, pan to Hammy.

Roderick: Oh Hammy, it's wonderful here when the sun's out.

Hammy: I know Roderick, but it never lasts for long.

Roderick: Well let's make the most of it while it is. Come on let's get my motorboat out before the fog returns.

Hammy: OK, shall we call G.P.?

Roderick: No leave him to sleep, besides he'd only slow us down.

Johnny: So the two animals pushed and heaved until they had Roderick's shiny boat in the river....
