Beat the Retreat

The day before the World Pipe Band Championshipos in Glasgow is the day for the traditional Beat the Retreat march through the city. 

It features a line up of several bands playing together.  Not sure who they all were but Canada and Australia were well represented.

The weather wasn't ideal - slightly damp and overcast.  So the light wasn't ideal for pictures. 

But none of that mattered.  It was all about the sound - and that was fantastic.
