Citadelle de Blaye

This is the old citadel in the town of Blaye viewed from the ferry. This took us across the Gironde to Lamarque on the peninsula from where we cycled back home. Our rather nice hotel was right in the centre of this shot, just to the left of the red roof tiles. 
It's a shame the image was slightly spoiled by the rather ugly cruise boat moored at the pier and the campervans.
I mapped our route over three days in today's extra. Just over 200km, but easily manageable in the time we took.
