As part of its Artists in Focus exhibition Walsall Art Gallery has these nine pencil & crayon drawings by Robert Priseman produced in 2015 in its  illustration & symbolism section.

The whole exhibition is set out without information labels so you form your own view of the art and then you can find out each artist's intention from the guide book...

This work in its entirety is called "Never Knowing Why" and each picture is of a school where pupils were massacred. 

And that was not what I imagined as I stood in front of them!
