The building faeries

In our absence, the building faeries (aka DS#2, DD&J) have struck. What was three fairly dark areas - a kitchen, a corridor and a sitting room - have been opened up to create one larger and lighter room. With a bit of paint applied too, the area has been transformed. Carpentry skills demonstrated on the stairs far exceed mine
Not finished but well on the way and a huge improvement.
