Dr Livingstone I presume?
I dragged a very reluctant husband out in the cold today, to go for a walk to see what I could find for todays blip. I did have a location in mind, but he had other ideas and we ended up walking towards Polbeth and through the estate of Limefield House.. The person who bought this house a few years back ended up building some houses on some of the grounds. In a way it's a shame as it means the estate isn't now what it used to be, but they are lovely houses set within gorgeous grounds.
The photo was taken on Limefield Bridge and is of the Harwood Water. A previous owner of the house was James Young who also happened to be friends with the missionary David Livingstone. You can just see in the back of the photo, a waterfall, which is supposed to be a miniature version of the "Victoria Falls" and was built as a tribute to Dr Livingstone.
