Brave soldier!

Violet was taken to the hospital at 7am this morning, went down for surgery (tonsillectomy)  at 8.45am and was back on the ward by 9.30am, job done!  I popped in to see her a couple of hours later, by which time she had requested porridge (seen here, pouring on the honey) which she demolished! She is now back home (late afternoon) and I understand that she has put on a 'Princess dress' and is practising her make up technique!
Of course when all the anaesthesia wears off she will inevitably have a few uncomfortable days, but so far so good and she really has been exceptionally brave.
