Fournier Street

Our 5th wedding anniversary today :)  We had a nice easy morning, then headed into town after lunch.  Started off at the National Portrait Gallery, to see the BP Portrait Awards, which were fab as usual, then went to Covent Garden to look in a few outdoors shops there.  

After that, we caught the tube over to Aldgate East, had a walk down Brick Lane and went for a coffee in Spitalfields market.  We had quite a bit of time to kill, so we had another wander further along Brick Lane, and another sit-down.  Eventually headed back over to Spitalfields and went for dinner at Galvin la Chapelle, which was lovely.  It was rather fancy, but the waiting staff were all so friendly, and the food was properly delicious.  I really recommend it!
