Amsterdam

Very full day of sightseeing in beautiful Amsterdam.  We did a hop-on-hop-off tour of the canals, and made good use of it all day.  Struggling to remember everything we did and saw now, but I know it was a lot!  We did try to get tickets for the Anne Frank House museum, but the online tickets were sold out and the queues outside were unbelievable!  Definitely one to save (and book in advance) for a future trip back here.  We also went up onto the roof of NEMO, the science museum, for a lovely sunny view over the city.

Today was our wedding anniversary, too, so we went for a really lovely meal this evening at a restaurant on Utrechtstraat; Harmsen.  Delicious food and lovely friendly service.  I recommend it!  I recommend Amsterdam, too - what a lovely chilled out city (just watch out for all the bikes!)
