Ness of Brodgar Open Day

I got along to the open day on my lunch-hour. The scene here overlooking the Loch of Stenness is a demonstration of Neolithic pot-making. I enjoyed the ancient music demos where Corwen and Kate showed and played a variety of horns made from cow-horn, birch bark etc. Visitors could try them too ( hygiene was not overlooked!) I could not get a note when I tried. They were in an open-sided tent with lots of guy ropes everywhere which made it difficult to get a decent shot.
