Day 3 Road Scholar Tour

In the morning we visited the Garden of the Gods -- very appropriately named, in my opinion -- and then had a tour of the Colorado Springs Pioneer Museum. The museum is not usually open on a Sunday but Road Scholar arranged for us to have a private tour.

After lunch we visited the luxurious Broadmoor Hotel and resort (1st extra). The public rooms of the hotel had a very impressive art collection, with many Remington sculptures. I enjoyed the museum of cars and carriages (2nd and 3rd extras).
