The disembodied hand, down the stairs

Went to an appointment early afternoon and got caught in a power outage whilst in the elevator.   First time for everything....  Thank goodness there was another person for the floor just below mine (which was the top, naturally)!   Lights out, lurch, noises, then the elevator decided to return to the lobby.    So I walked up 8 floors - and then back down afterwards (altho the power had come back on by then).    Only thought to take a foto by the time I was halfway down - and I was not going to walk back up for the full view of floors.   Next time, maybe  . . .
