Wild flowers

The weather has been lovely today and we actually managed to go for a drive.  We headed up the mountain and although it is a route we have often used the views never cease to amaze me. We stopped at a viewing platform and I took photos, the hieght at this point is 1685m above sea level.  However, I then noticed these marigolds growing by the roadside and knew I had to show them to you.  I also managed to take a monoshot of the view and a colour shot which I have put in the extras.  It rained as we got home, but the sun is out again so we are off for a swim.
