Almost Home

I spent much of the afternoon undertaking what Mark Twain is quoted as saying is ‘a good walk spoiled’. To be honest only my lack of ability spoilt the walk, as for the company my playing partners more than made up for my inadequacies. It was only as we started up the penultimate hole did I remember that I hadn’t taken any images today. Quickly grabbing the phone I caught Andy here, resting on the hole marker, prior to the trudge up the last half a mile of the course.

Nb. There is some doubt that it was Mark Twain that made that quote.
