Speckled Wood

A much fresher feel to the air today but still mild.  There must have been a lot of rain somewhere upstream as the brook, which hardly had any water in it a few days ago,  is now running full and almost submerging Shenstone's Shining Stone.  I took my regular walk around the village this morning.  A good number of speckled woods and a few commas were about but not much else.  Sadly it appears that vandals have smashed up one of our memorial benches alongside the path
