Updated Door

I realized that since we moved in, about 2.5 years ago, we haven't painted anything in our house a different color. This was for a couple of reasons, first off, we were trying to rent out our old condo and we were painting it for months straight ... so the idea of doing more was just not high on our list. And secondly, before our house was sold, they went to the bother of re-painting everything. It felt like a waste to undo that immediately.

Lately however, the front door has been really bothering me. It was primed with white ... and that was it (not by us). I had been thinking about doing some kind of jewel like blue color, but I am still not sure it was the right choice! Welp, too bad, it is on the door now, and turning back is to much work! It is looking warmer here than in real life, mostly due to the warm light in that room. I have to still do a second coat, but will wait until the morning. Fingers crossed I am happy with it still! (Though I know already I want to change the gross screen door we have!)

We also managed to get over to the DPW for our town today and we filled up our truck's bed with wood chips. I plan on putting these around the blueberries, but I need exactly a billion more yards of wood chips, so we may just order some as well (there isn't a lot at the DPW and it is so much work!). So, that is a whole lot of other projects on my list -_-
