Red Arrows over Waitrose

We went back to the Donkey Sanctuary late this afternoon to see if we could get a good view of the Red Arrows who were due to perform over Sidmouth at 6:30pm. It was so cold and miserable we decided to call it a day and do a bit of shopping at Waitrose. When we emerged from the shop at about 6:20 the place was heaving with people waiting to see the display, so we stayed put.
It's a shame about the lamps but never mind, we had a great view otherwise.
We heard from our family earlier to say that they had landed in Bangkok, and several hours later another message that they were back in Taipei. At least I may get a bit of sleep tonight - last night I was so hyped up with hours and hours of driving, that I hardly slept at all.
