Forde Abbey

After shopping in Crewkerne this morning we went to Forde Abbey for a walk around the grounds. We've taken out an annual membership there, as it's a lovely place to visit and only a few miles from home. The gardens, as always, were beautiful today.
There was a wedding taking place in the actual house this afternoon, so it was closed to the public, but we weren't planning to go inside anyway. A beautiful place for a wedding, although I dread to think how much it would cost.
I've been busy cooking this afternoon as we have visitors tomorrow and I'd like to get as much done today as possible.
