Day 4 Budapest

This morning we revisited a local market for some pickled vegetables and some paprika. The Hungarians pickle everything and there a few things we wanted to try. This afternoon we went on a bus tour of Buda and Pest. It was a bit disappointing as the tour guide spoke with heavily accented English which was hard to understand. Some things were left out of the tour which I thought should have been included. Nonetheless, the things we did see were wonderful.
We had booked a night cruise on the Danube for the evening so we had dinner at a steak restaurant brforehand. The steak is put onto hot stones and allowed to cook to your liking. It was amazing - so tender and flavoursome. The river cruise was lovely and I was able to get some night shots of Parliament House; something I had always wanted to do. Unfortunately we were a bit close to see it in its entirety so a shot from the side will have to do, Unlike the previous tour, the guide was very informative.
