Wasps Nest No.3

Fortunately this third wasps nest this year shows no sign of activity so is presumably one abandoned from a previous year. It was right in the middle of a large holly bush / tree growing through a branch, The holly, whilst lovely, is way too large for the spot it's in and I was going to cut it right back, but on closer inspection the trunk is quite large and it would look weird if cut right back, that's if it survived. So the landscape gardeners have kindly agreed to take it out when they're here doing another part of the garden, so I'm cutting all the branches off and taking the waste to the recycling centre beforehand. A dragonfly took advantage of a cut branch as a perch - see Extra - I wondered if it was a female Ruddy Darter, any ideas? 

P.S. I bought tickets for the Christmas Candlelight Tour at Holkham yesterday - xmas is only 4 month away folks!!!!
