On the Coast Path

'The Norfolk Coast Path runs from Hunstanton in west Norfolk round to Sea Palling on the north east Norfolk coast. The majority of this walking trail runs through the dramatic landscape of the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.'  An additional section has also been opened from Sea Palling to Hopton on Sea as part of the England Coast Path, making it 84 miles long in total. 

This morning G and I walked  a small section of the Norfolk Coast path from Morston Quay to Blakeney and back again. It's lovely walking along the coast with the marshes between you and the sea, but it doesn't make for a great photo unfortunately when the sky is uninteresting. At Blakeney we went to an antiques fair where I bought two matching geese ornaments with lovely long necks which will no doubt feature in a Winter blip! 

On the walk back we came across this lady who was walking the same section of the coastal path on stilts for charity. Most of this section is elevated and quite windy, so it must have been even more challenging than it looks.
