Sun/flowers

On my way to drop off some books for the used book sale at the library I passed a farm that had rows of sunflowers on one side and some kind of dahlias (maybe?) on the other side. It was all so beautiful that I had to stop and take some pictures.
The other extra is one of the chippies I bothered/bribed this morning. I think it looks like he wears his heart on his sleeve - literally.
Very sorry to hear about Senator McCain. I didn’t share many of his political views, but he seemed about as stand-up as they come and he really has been the only Republican to choose service to his country over kowtowing to Trump. And I guess that’s no surprise given his record of service.
