Bowing out

A good discussion meeting in the morning then interviews, before dashing in a heavy rainstorm to a Chinese fashion show which was a good mix of very wearable things in beautiful fabrics to some very high tech colour changing and shape shifting outfits. Met up with a few people I hadn’t seen for a while and then went round to the theatre for Cerenterola opera by Opera Lyon as a farewell to JP. Fabulous! Totally OTT, camp, kitsch and high energy with an amazingly versatile and creative staging, great acting and wonderful orchestra. In a couple of places the singers were a little drowned out but mostly great too.
At the interval I was pleased I’d remembered my passes so we went to the drinks party and we met up with quite a few people that it was good to see and chat to.
Home..very tired! Nearly good back to normal with sleeping but still a bit disrupted.
