The Grand Turk

Whitby FW - backblip 3 (Sunday)

Lots of friends called at the stall today, which was lovely, and this afternoon I had a couple of hours off for a wander round Whitby with Anne and Malc. No sooner had we reached the other side of the swing bridge than MrM phoned - he couldn't get the card machine to work. Dashed back to the Leisure Centre and conducted the transaction with a customer who had very patiently waited for my arrival! (Seems that the mobile signal had simply cut out for a short while...) Hurried back across the bridge to meet with A & M again, and we went in to the Board for a cooling drink and catch-up conversation.

Back to the stall before closing time. In the evening MrM and I met up with Tom and Dorothy for a fish supper (though I opted for the delicious scampi salad...), and a drink. A quick blip of the Grand Turk as we walked back to the caravan. Time for a game of Scrabble before bed.
