Classic Dartmoor

So after the lovely weather yesterday, we woke to quite a lot of rain this morning. It wasn't cold, just soggy. Most of the group ambled through Dartmoor to Drogo Castle. We took an adventurous route with many narrow, high hedged single track roads. Then we met some cattle who were in no hurry to clear the road. Finally reaching the castle, we had a good look around (some even spent time looking at the gardens!) before meeting in the café for a good lunch. Then it was back to base. The drive home included more cattle (see the extra). I (Chris) dived out for a couple of photos in the rain. The mono shot probably best represents the conditions.

After a cup of tea, I set off home with Rosie and her friend wanting to be back this evening. Annie is staying on for another day with some of the group.
