First flush

The contents of my first tattie sack. The variety is Bonnie and they certainly are. Far too pretty to be potatoes. 2kg from the first bag so that's pretty good.
On another note picked another 2kg of brambles yesterday so they have dripped but I ran out of time so they'll need to be jellyfied tomorrow. I just can't resist picking them when I'm out for a walk. When all you have to pay for is the sugar, and you end up with beautiful bramble jelly it's just too hard to say no.
Spent the afternoon and evening going through and sorting out all the papers left by our vestry secretary who died very unexpectedly earlier this year - I ended up typing up the minutes from our AGM last year from her notes, which I don't think she'd got around to...her writing was even worse than mine which was a revelation!
