Turkey Flight

One of ca. 20 wild turkeys perhaps 60 meters (yards) from our house--the "flight" was short, about 8 to 10 meters (just a long hop).  Notice the red throat. The day's main event was an extended brunch at Maureen and Bill's house on Page Hill (see the map)--in the extra are Maureen (on the right) with her sisters  Beth (my cousin Jim's wife) and Kathleen, the widow of David Lang, whose memorial service we attended last December.  (The three sisters are lined up in front of three trees named for them :)  The dog is Sully.
