Whitby FW - backblip 5 (Tuesday)

Enjoyed watching Sheffield Steel Rapper when they danced at the Music and Craft Fair this morning. Escaped from the stall for a while in the afternoon to find some more dancing buy some mandolin strings for MrM. Stood near the Whalebones for a while and watched several sides perform. Then down past the Bandstand, indulged in an ice cream, and tarried a while to watch the swing bridge swing to allow a yacht sail through. Back up the hill to the music shop and, having bought the strings, couldn’t resist walking back to the Whalebones to watch the Seven Champs. Their Molly was busy sweeping the street.

Jimmy joined us for an evening meal (MrM cooked chicken stir fry) before he went off to a concert at the Rugby Club, and MrM and I walked in to Whitby along the cliff-top path. It was still warm and we sat by the Whalebones for a while to look up at the stars and take in the view of night-time Whitby. Went in to the Station on the way back to the caravan, and stayed there for a couple of drinks with Denny and Hugh. A late night…
