End of the festivities

Off early to Glasgow for a couple of meetings about Better Hearings and overlap activity with the Youth Justice Improvement Board. Back to the office then home to inspect progress, make some tablet for the show on Friday and head off to the firework display which closes this year’s festival.

Though billed as 9pm, the display did not start until 9:30. But when it started it was tremendous. Rings akin to the Olympic symbol. Golden sparkling displays which climbed higher and higher. The castle being lit up to increasing effect - and the traditional “waterfall”. Of the several photos I attempted this is one of the better ones. I should get a tripod sometime.

Caught the first bus that came,t made some raspberry jam and started a jelly. Then to bed with the audit papers for tomorrow.
