Mirror mirror

Sunday was about recovery, catching up and putting the Flower Show behind me. And doing the things I would have done on Saturday alongside the Sunday activities.

One of the Sunday activities for me is Church and normally helping out at Sunday School. Today however 12 new elders were being ordained - several of them from among those who help out at Sunday School.

It was an enjoyable event with a very good sermon. Part of the children's address was asking them what they would draw if asked to show what God looked like. We did not get the "white haired man with a long beard" answer. Nor indeed the embracing woman answer.

Instead "a rose"; "light"; "a heart". All of that played into the Minister's talk where he had images of nature. The final reveal was a mirror to show ourselves.
