Shy fungi
It’s definitely feeling a bit autumnal at the moment and, fittingly, I found my first fungi of the season when the dogs and I finally made it out for a walk this afternoon. I believe it’s a juvenile Blusher.
Got another chapter (another 12,000 words) off to my supervisors today and my first supervisor, who had been AWOL since March, is back in correspondence, thank goodness. And he’s come up with some more money for me to do some more radiocarbon dating, which is good news and will require me to go to Kent and the Isle of Wight to get some samples.
Tired now so sitting on the sofa and catching up with Bake Off and then a bit of Kath and Kim, I think, now that they’re on Netflix :)
