That time of year...

...that some people struggle to understand when they first arrive in NL.

Sinterklaas and Zwarte Pieten arrive in The Netherlands to throw little ginger biscuits at small children!!

It never ceases to amaze me how tradition takes over and what some people would consider politically incorrect is not looked at in that way at all. They go mad for it. There is no sense of racism or misunderstanding, it's just a great time for the kids, and they do love their kids here.
