Poetry in motion!

We decided to brave the elements today and go for a wander. One of the best things about the cottage was that it came with a parking pass to use in the pay and display car parks throughout the Southern Lakes. Now that really did appeal to my Scottish frugal nature

Took a drive to Grassmere to visit the Wordsworth graves. We also went for a wander round St. Oswalds church. I do find churches very peaceful places (even with a boisterous 4 year old in tow). Finished off the day with a nice cup of tea and drove home with a calmness in our souls and a serenity in our hearts. Lovely day!
