A Poor Excuse For A Blip

This is the same gull that shows up periodically and acts as though it's an osprey.  It circles, dives and skims the water just like it was looking for a fish.  After about ten minutes it flies away.  Fortunately, he rescued me in time to grab the camera even though I couldn't manage to get him in focus.  I had just gotten home from a day of painting display cases for the next WeSnip sale, followed by an appointment with the chiropractor and had no idea what I'd do for a blip.  I'm glad the gull came by even though what he's doing will have to remain a mystery.
