Another one bites the dust

Apparently 3 pubs a day are closing in the UK, and are probably being replaced by housing developments as they are often in prime locations.
As much as we need housing we also need communities and I think our pubs often provide a space for local people to socialise and offer so much more than just a drink.
I’ll get off my soap box now.
