Flower Friday

I'm still catching up after the holiday so I haven't been out anywhere today and I've just taken various shots around the garden.  I don't know the variety of this rose but I liked the way the light fell on it and seemed to light it up.

September tomorrow and my favourite month, it's our wedding anniversary and the birthday of our youngest daughter who's just phoned to say she's in the airport waiting for a flight to Madrid.  She's going to see the family of a work colleague who have a home in Murcia and she's hoping for a week of parties and dancing - if only I had her energy. :-))
