Underpass

Hyndland Station ceramic murals.This 150 feet long mural involved pupils and staff of Hyndland Secondary School in consultation with stained-glass artists Rab MacInnes and Linda Cannon. It was commissioned to celebrate Glasgow’s Year as Cultural Capital of Europe in 1990. It is now suffering from exposure to leakage over the years but whether that can be halted or the staining removed is debatable.
