Dipping...

.. We have had glorious sunshine (and warmth) today.
This is Good News for those of us cooking upstairs but using downstairs water (going out through the front door and in the back door). A rainy day (which we have not, yet, experienced in this 'adventure') would mean that having forgotten (as an example) a plate, or a knife would render the whole fafftrip a lot more wet arduous.

Our first lot of rubble has been tidied away, but we are braced for the next lot on Monday, when a ceiling is being taken down :-/
The project is reminding us a lot of 'When The Gas Man Came To Call', for those who remember Flanders and Swann...
We weren't expecting a ceiling to go, but what can you do Gladys?

I was up early and enjoyed seeing the dewy spiders webs (very Going Back To School). Himself idly wondered whether I too had collected them on a stick 'to make mirrors?'.

No.
Just No.
I didn't 'do' sticks (in those days).
